5c Services wins Small Business Growth Award at this year’s Powys Business Awards!
5c Services were thrilled and honoured to receive the award, sponsored by Myrick Training, at the awards dinner held at The Hafren, Newtown on 28th of September 2018. What an incredible night it was!
Filled with great food (the occasional drink of course), with great entertainment and fantastic company, the Powys Business Awards certainly didn’t disappoint. We are so proud of our team and the highest of standards that we (at 5c Services) strive to achieve. It’s such a cliché to say, but we didn’t expect to win and we were merely proud and happy to be shortlisted for the finals and to be up against some great companies.
Here at 5c Services we are very proud of our achievements and our team. Our success in building a thriving business has been our unwavering passion and commitment for our customers and we are very much looking forward to future.
Mike Cook, managing director of 5c Services Ltd, said: “This award recognises the dedication and commitment by the whole team and how they always strive to ensure the highest of standards are kept and it’s down to our team and our loyal customer’s that drive us forward”
Over the past six years, turnover has grown from £168,000 to £735,000, and the business is on track for a predicted growth rate of around 30% this year. Expansion to date has been self-funded through reinvestment of profit and to date, growth has been achieved purely through customer recommendations. Business has indeed gone from strength to strength having firmly cemented our place as the best provider of IT Business support in Powys.
The company has more than 100 clients many of which are long-standing support contract clients. To accelerate growth, 5c Services Ltd is now focusing on improving sales, cross-selling and maximising revenue as the company plans to expand its footprint from Mid Wales.
Powys Business Awards judges said: “Achieving customer satisfaction through personal service is a high priority and requires the building of confidentiality and trust by providing tailor-made solutions for each client. This has resulted in a high percentage of repeat business. The company has seen continuous growth of turnover and staff since 2014 and plans continued growth.”
We would like to congratulate all of the finalists and winners. Events like the Powys Business Awards shows the diversity of great companies we have in Powys.
So, we’ll be proudly showcasing our award, however that certainly doesn’t make us complacent. With many projects coming up and the business expanding we are looking to the future with excitement and optimism.
