The Brief

Nerak Wiese Ltd required an upgrade to their current IT Infrastructure, bringing them up to date with the latest server, application and security platforms. 

 

Planning and procurement

A project manager was allocated and a full audit of current IT infrastructure, specifications and requirements were recorded. 

Current systems brought up to date ready for a full domain migration. 

New equipment was procured, configured and delivered to customer site.  Both new and legacy system would co- exist to ensure a smooth transition. 

 

Execution

Project manager and a team of engineers worked out of office hours to minimise the downtime to the company in the process of migrating their company applications and data. 

A new security appliance was installed to heighten the security at the gateway to their network. 

A full functional office running solely on new equipment was achieved. 

 

Review

An engineer spent the day onsite with the company after the move to ensure system ran optimally and to assist with any issues the user may face.

Ongoing support and maintenance was given to Nerak Wiese to ensure the system continue to serve the needs of the company for the lifespan of the equipment.
