Our culture of shared success has been fundamental since our incorporation 19 years ago, with efforts to provide a happy and thriving working environment.
The past few years have certainly been challenging for both businesses and employees. These challenges provided us with a valued prospective and helpful insight into what works best for our business, customers, but most of all what working environment is best suited for our people, our team, our business. Recognising that many organisations continue to adopt a hybrid or home working pattern, for us, the pandemic surprisingly had the opposite effect. We aren’t dismissing home working entirely as there are times this can be effective.
RETURN TO OFFICE WORKING
We returned to the office in May 2022, and we are all much happier. For our team it seems the social interaction, face to face communication and peer support is vital. Yes, we are an IT business, and the virtual world is our world, but seriously, we are a friendly bunch that enjoy face to face interaction, and a beer or two at the end of a busy week.
We designed our new office with our people at the forefront and with their input the result has been incredible. From plenty of plants, vibrant colours, fully equipped kitchen all the way to sit-stand desks and not forgetting our games room and break out area to relax in after or during a hard day’s work.
We do recognise this setting on its own was not sufficient and we needed to do more to make sure everyone feels appreciated for their hard work and dedication. To help promote a healthy and happy working environment we have introduced a range of perks for our team.
SO, WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT?
Firstly, our team is our family. We appreciate every single one of them. They are not “just a number”, our people are our business and all ideas and input is valued and encouraged.
We also encourage collaboration. We are all here to learn from and help each other. Whether that’s knowledge sharing, teamwork, motivating and supporting each other or sharing success.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF 5C
Our office is our second home and we have created a light, airy and productive space to work in.
Morning - Run out of time to have breakfast before coming to work? Our fully stocked breakfast bar has you covered. Help yourself! After all, who can focus when they’re hungry?
Snack – We do encourage a balanced diet, so have all basis covered on this one. From our sweet station to a selection of biscuits, savory snacks, trail mixes and fresh fruit.
Tea and coffee are a must for any office, but we like ours with some chocolate or a snack. Shhh… that’s our secret formula to maintaining a happy and friendly workforce.
